Preparation
- Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the seeds and white membranes. Pat the halves dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Generously spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
- In a separate bowl, combine breadcrumbs, melted butter, and smoked paprika. Mix until breadcrumbs are evenly coated, then press onto cheese filling.
Cooking
- Arrange the stuffed jalapeños in the air fryer basket, cheese-side up. Air fry at 375°F for about 5-8 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let the poppers cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.
Notes
Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer. Prepare ahead and freeze for up to 3 months, air frying from frozen with added time. Adjust cooking time for desired crispiness.
