  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Opt for a high-quality brand like Hellmann’s or even a homemade version.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Full-fat for richness, but lighter options work too.
  • 2 tsp anchovy paste Adds depth of flavor without being fishy.
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice Freshly squeezed for brightness.
Fresh Herbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh tarragon Use more or less to taste.
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives Great for a mild onion flavor.
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley Flat-leaf parsley is preferred.
Seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp freshly cracked black pepper Adjust according to personal taste.
  • Salt to taste Salt Start with a pinch and enhance from there.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all ingredients and ensure the herbs are washed and dried properly.
  2. In a food processor or blender, add the mayonnaise, sour cream, anchovy paste, lemon juice, and a good pinch of salt. Pulse to start blending.
  3. Gradually add the tarragon, chives, and parsley to the mixture. Pulse until everything is well combined and smooth.
  4. Taste your dressing and adjust the seasoning by adding more anchovy paste, herbs, or lemon juice as desired.
  5. Transfer your dressing to a clean jar or container with a lid.
Storage
  1. Store in the fridge for up to one week.
