Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme or parsley, kosher salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined into a paste.
Cooking
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and rub the spice mixture generously over each chop.
- Place the chops in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Use a meat thermometer to check that the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, bring pork chops to room temperature before cooking. Consider marinating the chops for extra flavor.
